EXPERIENCE

Mr. Boyd has been providing clinical vocational rehabilitation services to disabled and occupationally displaced individuals for over 27 years. He has worked and consulted in a wide array of settings including hospitals, case management companies and government agencies. Nationally recognized for his expertise in the vocational implications of brain injury, he has adjunctive faculty and consulting status at several Chicago-area hospitals and rehabilitation facilities. Mr. Boyd has spent a significant part of his career teaching the principles of vocational rehabilitation in a number of venues including the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education and the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. Retained regularly by both plaintiff and defense counsel, Mr. Boyd has provided expert testimony all over the United States on issues pertaining to the impact of disability on wage earning capacity and labor market access. Additionally, Mr. Boyd was the lead vocational expert for the defense on the country’s highest profile class action ADA case, EEOC vs. Rockwell International.
