In 1982 she became the first in-house rehabilitation counselor for the nation's largest disability insurer and from there went on to develop their national rehabilitation, social security advocacy and employer disability management consulting programs. In 1989 her achievements earned her that organization's highest employee recognition, The Chairman's Award. As a former insurance executive and corporate officer she has particular expertise in executive and professional level occupations and disability issues.
