Life expectancy of persons with developmental disabilities (cerebral palsy, vegetative state), and those who have suffered spinal cord or traumatic brain injuries. General population life expectancy calculations.
EXPERIENCE
Dr. Strauss is currently a Professor in the Department of Statistics at the University of California, Riverside. He is a Fellow of the American Statistical Association. He has done significant research on the subject of life expectancy of children and adults with cerebral palsy, persons in vegetative states and with those who have suffered spinal cord or traumatic brain injuries. In addition, he has published extensively on the topic of life expectancy and has provided expert witness testimony in seven countries, including England, Canada and the United States.
