A Rehabilitation Counselor since 1983, she provides evaluation, counseling and guidance, program planning, training recommendations, case management, job accommodations, job seeking skills training, job analysis and job placement to individuals with disabilities. Ms. Hughes has worked extensively with individuals with orthopedic injuries, mental illness and depression, mental retardation and traumatic head injuries. She has coordinated job skill training programs for individuals with severe disabilities as well as supervised and coordinated job coaching and supported employment services. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Ms. Hughes has also taught classes in time management, goal setting, communication, and work place expectations to individuals participating in Welfare to Work and college entrance programs.
